Amanda Rohm Daquila, Executive Director
Amanda Rohm Daquila has been Executive Director of Heidelberg University Association since 2019. Amanda has a strong background in international education, alumni affairs, and nonprofit management. She previously served as Senior Program Director at Cultural Vistas in New York City, an international educational nonprofit organization. She is very familiar with alumni work as she oversaw the founding and development of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Alumni Association (CBYXAA). Amanda holds a B.A. in Germanic Languages and Literatures and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Area Studies from Virginia Tech. She spent her junior year at University of Freiburg in Freiburg, Germany and spent a year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Gymnasium Damme in Damme, Germany.
Melanie Grossmann, Program Officer
Melanie has worked for Heidelberg University Association since 2019, focusing on supporting and expanding our extensive alumni network. Over her career, Melanie has worked on both sides of the Atlantic for companies of all sizes in the technology, ecommerce and advertising industries. She has over 20 years of marketing experience, having held various roles in corporate event management and design. She has extensive knowledge of graphic design and website management. Melanie is a dual German/U.S. citizen with a strong connection to Heidelberg, where she was born.
